Our Mission Statement:
A.S.G. Staffing is dedicated to quality, safety, ethics and immediacy, which results in greater rewards for all concerned.   

Although we are primarily in the industrial staffing business, our model more closely matches that of a traditional "temporary staffing" firm combined with the quality associated with a professional search firm.  We do not operate any "labor hall - physical dispatch" offices. All of our job candidates are personally screened in our office prior to their assignment.  Many of our temporary workers enjoy long term assignments at the same client company. 

If you are looking for a contingency staffing provider that places quality of service first and will do what it takes to properly fill your temporary labor needs, we would like the opportunity to meet with you and recommend a solution.  However, if you are looking for a quick fill in for a few hours or for a day or two, we may recommend you contact another "day labor" provider if we are unable to fill your needs.  

The history of A.S.G. begins in 1987 with the concept and introduction of Advanced Search Group,  (abbreviated A.S.G.)      Originally founded by Chuck Porcelli, Chuck Nystrom and Terry Doyle, A.S.G. was developed to provide national Engineering & Operations Management search clients with a more professional and personal approach to the typical candidate search experience. 

Joined by Dagmar Porcelli in 1995, the introduction of A.S.G. Staffing as a sister company expanded our scope to serve A.S.G.'s Chicago & suburban clients in the traditional temporary help market, primarily focused on the light industrial staffing sector. Many of our "search" business recruiting methods and techniques have been applied to our temporary staffing business model, resulting in far better temporary job fills at each of our clients. 

Since it’s introduction, A.S.G. Staffing has contributed significantly to our organizational growth and development. In May of 2000, our original company, Advanced Search Group, was divested and is now independently owned and operated by Charlie Diana, a former key employee. Although now totally separate corporations, we still work very closely with Advanced Search Group on areas of overlapping business. In addition to our corporate office, we have 5 regional metropolitan Staffing Service Centers, an internal staff of 36 including: Sales, Operations, Administrative and Executive Management. Through our business alliance with our clients we helped create opportunities for over 3,300 new jobs. A.S.G. Staffing was the employer of record for over 5,900 temporary employees in 2006.  A large number of our temporary workforce has multiple years of continuous employment with us and are eligible for benefits such as 401K and access to affordable health, dental and disability insurance options.
